I m alone upstairs and i hear downstairs what sounds like somebody walking around quietly. Then when i m upstairs i hear the exact same sounds downstairs. Like it s avoiding me i don t believe in ghosts and i drown out the sound of. I have no idea what this is but i ve been hearing it for about a year.

It just keeps scratching just the roof space in our room only and no other part of the house. I know for sure it sounds like footsteps no other explanations.
